Shoe dependence and which shoes match your personality
According to Mary Kay Ashe, "While clothes may not make the woman, they certainly have a strong effect on her self-confidence - which, I believe, does make the woman." Shoes are important to men; however, shoes have become quintessential to a women's style. Most women's style can be based upon the purpose of the shoe, how the shoe accents different outfits, and the shoes women choose because of their own personality characteristics.
First, there are the boot lovers. The boot lover chooses boots because they usually have cold feet. Boots secretly become their second layer while maintaining style and prestige. Every female has her own boot style which accents her own style. For example, a female who usually wears a flowing skirt with a simple tunic loves the three inch heel, knee-high suede boot. Boots can contribute a one-of-kind element to simple clothes such as jeans, dresses, skirts, jackets, and dress pants. The boot lovers tend to create different personalities with their various boots. Different boots create a different lifestyle to the wearer during a minimal length of time. For example, a sophisticated "up-scale" woman who usually wears high heels becomes a fun, country gal when she simply slips on a pair of jeans with cowboy boots. The boot lovers want power, not on a competition scale; nevertheless, they want the power to be individuals without resistance from others. The boot lovers want to purchase shoes that are unique, fashionable, and unpredictable.
The second group consists of the tennis shoe majors. The tennis shoe majors are about comfort with a dash of freedom. Tennis shoes become their crutch to give them the strength to accomplish everyday tasks. Tennis shoes majors purchase either plain or exceptional bright colored tennis shoes. For example, a woman who plays sports will purchase tennis shoes with her team colors to show team spirit. Tennis shoe majors are able to wear very causal and even cozy clothes such as sweats, jeans, or shorts with a ringer tee. Tennis shoe majors are constantly on the go. Their schedules do not allow them time for sore feet due to smug shoes. Tennis shoe majors want to complete their daily tasks without any problems.Tennis shoe majors show results, not excuses. Tennis Shoe majors attitudes are based on: "First, let me put my hair in a pony tail and I will be ready for anything". Tennis shoe majors are usually very oriented with others. They will not be discouraged if mud gets on their shoes because they can usually put them in the washer without worry. Tennis Shoe majors thrive on excellence, competition, and survival skills.
Finally, the classy high heels are a favorite group among most women. The classy high heels enjoy fancy, formal parties with friends and dancing. For example, most females are willing to buy high heels for a special occasion like prom than any other type of shoe. The classy high heels have become more popular into the lives of working women who want to make their presence known to the business world. The classy high heels communicate civility with suits, formal dresses, and slacks. High heels come in a variety of colors to compliment each outfit perfectly. The classy high heels want to be viewed as respectable, dependable, and professional.
It was discovered that fiery reds, throbbing yellows and pulsating greens are expected to dominate fabric hues and make the definitive statement in women's fashions for this decade. In this case, the statement seems to be: "Yoo hoo! Over here!" This reminded me of the results of a study, dealing with the psychological impact of color in footwear, which appeared in a women's magazine some years ago. It was designed to show how color in footwear could capitalize on a man's personality traits. Among the chromatic tips ... RED -- If he's the shy type and needs a little shaking up, wear red. Red is the most stimulating color. There's a good chance that, if you wear red, he'll be chasing you around the furniture in no time.
The proper footwear with a red dress is white track shoes.
BLUE -- Wear blue if your man is sentimental. Blue reduces sentimentalists to blubbering hulks. Put on a blue outfit and take him to see An Affair To Rememberand he'll be putty in your hands.
GREEN -- If your beloved is an outdoorsy type, your best bet is to wear green. Outdoorsmen are pushovers for anything that looks like shrubbery.
For a chic accessory touch, you might consider wearing a pair of dangling pine cones as ear rings.
YELLOW -- Is he younger than you? Then you'll want to wear the "young" color, and that's yellow. No other color, say the experts, so accentuates youthfulness.
This works only up to a point, however. If he's 17 and you're 92, you could probably wear a fire hydrant around your neck with no significant results.
BLACK -- What if he's older than you? Then your best bet is to wear black. Black not only lends dignity to the wearer, it makes him or her appear mature and adult.
I'd give the black outfit two or three tries, and if it doesn't seem to be getting you anywhere, forget it. Otherwise, your friends are going to start wondering.
WHITE -- If you're going to a party where you think there might be a lot of other attractive women, wear white. White is the "distinctive" color, and helps you stand out in a crowd.
It's also good if the guy turns out to be a dud, and you have to walk home from the party. White enables you to be seen easily by oncoming cars.
PINK -- The study recommends that, if you want to attract a man who is particularly devoted to his mother, you should wear pink.
If you are doing your best to look attractive and he keeps thinking of his mother, you're not in for much of an evening anyway.
ORANGE -- Finally, if you can't stand the creep and want to get rid of him, wear orange. Harsh, unrelieved orange. The experts maintain that screaming orange alienates everybody.
